Kimber Manufacturing is an American company that designs, manufactures, and distributes small arms such as M1911 pistols, Solo pistols and rifles. The USA Shooting Team, Marines assigned to Special Operations Command, and the LAPD SWAT team [1] use Kimber pistols. Jul 24, 2010 - Anyone have some knowledge on a Kimber of Oregon Model 82? I have one that. It has a 4-digit serial number without any lettering prefix.

It features a special order serial number 'RSS H89' which are most likely the customer's initials and perhaps an indication this was the 89th.22 Hornet made. Features include the hand checkered walnut stock with Niedner checkered steel buttplate and steel grip cap. The bolt is numbered to the gun.

Condition is very nearly perfect. The metal shows no wear and there is no rust or any pitting. The wood is also nearly 100% although I did see one very small handling mark so I'll grade the wood 99.8%. There have never been any scope rings attached.

It comes in the original excellent condition box which numbers to the gun. I would guess that this rifle was manufactured in 1982, the first year of production. Buyer pays $39.00 shipping. SORRY, BUT I CANNOT END ANY AUCTION EARLYPLEASE DON'T ASK! If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they go >>>> AUCTION TERMS – PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING.

Catz 5 download free I have one of the original Kimber Model 82's in 22LR. It has a 4-digit serial number without any lettering prefix. I purchased this rifle new in 1981 upon completion of graduate school. It will put bullet on top of bullet at 25 yards with either Eley or Winchester Super-X ammo. It looks like new as it has been properly stored for years, but, unfortunately, never used. I bought it for a squireel gun but just can't take it to the woods - it's too pretty. My Remington 581 does just fine as a squirrel gun, so I have never hunted with the Kimber.

I haven't heard of the variety you have, but will check my Kimber paperwork. I have brochures and parts lists from 1981. I'd be happy to copy them and mail them to you if you forward a mailing address. Not sure it will help, but I kept a file on the Kimber. I've owned three Kimber M82s and still have two of them.

My first was from the initial production run and it was both beautiful and accurate. Unfortunately the bolt release was integral with the trigger.
